Advanced Practice Provider

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our inpatient teams at University Hospital and Unity Point Health Meriter in Madison, WI. As a critical care specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients. Your expertise will be essential in working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients.
- Perform procedures, manage complex patients, and provide exceptional care in a collaborative environment.
- Conduct comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessment of patients/families and develop plans of care for patients with a critical illness.
Education and Certifications
Minimum requirements include a Master's or Doctorate's degree from an accredited Nursing Program or a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited PA Program. Additionally, you must have active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice, as well as active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. If Physician Assistant, you must have active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice, and active PA board certification. All applicants must have an active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
