Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support IOS and firmware updates for all edge networking devices.
  • Contribute to the design of network infrastructure solutions tailored to the needs of various business units.
  • Assist in planning and executing pilot programs for edge networking upgrades in collaboration with the Edge Networking Control team.
  • Lead and participate in the design and implementation of enterprise-level edge networking projects, including coordinating with multiple teams and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Oversee assigned projects related to Enterprise Edge Networking, ensuring effective management and deployment of technologies that align with business objectives.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of all edge networks, including asset inventories and operational diagrams.
  • Support other networking teams in evaluating complex network designs to enhance performance and security.
  • Review vendor communications and provide necessary remediation recommendations.
  • Drive the refresh cycles for edge networking and coordinate deployment schedules with other teams.
  • Evaluate current and future network requirements, preparing technical solutions and recommendations.
  • Review network cabling and infrastructure documentation to ensure compliance with technical standards.
  • Participate in testing processes to validate adherence to policies and industry standards.
  • Maintain relationships with operational contacts, business partners, service providers, and network carriers.
  • Support the planning and design of LAN/WAN network architecture, including bandwidth analysis and capacity planning.
  • Utilize industry tools for network management to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Provide advanced support for network teams and users regarding established network resources.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends in network hardware and technologies.
  • Ensure timely submission and delivery of service orders.
  • Coordinate change management efforts with relevant teams.
  • Document all networking incidents in accordance with established processes.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, vendors, and partners.
  • Maintain proficiency in network monitoring tools and automation.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds.
