Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator to join our Inpatient Surgical Unit team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and clinical expertise to deliver exceptional patient care and improve health outcomes.

As a Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator/Charge Nurse, you will demonstrate proficiency in nursing practice for the assigned specialty area and provide clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in the department. You will work under the direction of the department manager to lead safety and quality initiatives, simplify workflow, and contribute to the development of staff.

Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients with a variety of healthcare needs, including respiratory compromised patients, patients with DKA, CHF, Pneumonia, and more. We are the designated Stroke Unit and provide care for patients with complex medical conditions.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong nursing background, with at least 18 months of experience and a BSN degree. A Master's degree is preferred, but not required. You will also need to possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Estimated salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
