We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at 4pssi. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive environment and providing excellent customer service experience at our client sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of visibility and presence at client sites to deter and prevent security incidents.
- Observe and report any suspicious activities or incidents to management.
- Provide excellent customer service experience to clients and visitors.
- Conduct regular patrols of client sites to ensure the safety and security of personnel and property.
- Monitor and respond to alarms and emergency situations.
- Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Perform other security-related tasks as required.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess and carry a valid current Guard Registration Card issued by BSIS and present the eight hour certificate for PTA/WMD.
- Possess and carry a valid current California state issued picture identification card or drivers license.
- Be current with BSIS continued education requirements for security guards.
- Possess required permits to carry tools.
- Have no criminal record.
- Pass a thorough background check initially and periodically, including random drug testing.
- Be physically and mentally able to perform the job.
- Speak, read and write in the English language (clearly & legibly).
- Be of moral character.
- Be dependable.
- Be able to get along with others.
- Possess and carry an activated working mobile telephone and a message phone at your residence where you can be reached.
- Have reliable means of transportation to and from work at all times.
- Accept that due to the nature of the security industry, employment is temporary and there are no guaranteed minimum hours.
- Have a neat appearance; keep beard and facial hair short and neat.
- Cover all tattoos while in company uniform.
- No facial jewelry while in uniform.
- Be flexible and willing to travel outside your residential city.
- Agree that if hired, employment is At Will.
- Refrain from using any profanity while in uniform.
- Wear only proper company uniform while on duty.
- Arrive to worksites on time.
- Call in when arriving and departing worksite.
- Ability to work in a paramilitary organization and follow rules and regulations of this department.
