Clean Harbors, a leading provider of environmental, energy, and industrial services, is seeking a skilled Environmental Services Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive environmental services, including collection and disposal of damaged, discarded, or recalled products, recycling of light bulbs, oil, oil filters, engine fluids, and other materials, and on-site cleanup activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety: Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
  • Waste Management: Pick up, pack, and transport damaged and discarded goods management, and recalled products.
  • Materials Handling: Load, pack, and segregate materials and waste products.
  • Customer Interaction: Interact with customers at each stop.
  • Documentation: Prepare DOT shipping documents.
  • Technology: Use a laptop, printer, handheld, and iPhone to complete tasks.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Conduct projects/jobs according to site-specific Federal, State, and local regulations and health and safety plans as well as Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc., policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Required.
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to use a laptop, handheld, printer, and iPhone.
  • CDL Class B: Eligible to obtain a CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within 6 months of hire, company-paid.
  • Background Check: Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Commercial Driving Experience: Previous commercial driving experience.
  • Route Experience: Previous route experience.
  • Manual Labor Experience: Previous manual labor experience.
