Orthopedic Surgical Specialist

At Summit Orthopedics, we value the contributions of each team member in delivering exceptional patient care. As a Surgical Technologist, you will be an integral part of our surgical team, utilizing your expertise in sterile and aseptic techniques to facilitate physician-performed procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the operating room and sterile field for procedures
- Anticipate and provide necessary instrumentation to the surgical team
- Participate in patient identification and verification processes
- Segregate and dispose of hazardous waste
- Assist in the reprocessing of surgical instrumentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date physician preference cards
- Report unusual occurrences promptly
Requirements:
- Basic Life Support certification
- Certified Surgical Technician certification
- Technical training or equivalent experience
