We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Department of Mental Health-MHC Aiken-Barnwell. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to our team, including front desk operations, patient registration, and medical records.
- Assist with scheduling and rescheduling appointments, as well as conducting required audits.
- Participate in supervision meetings, training, and agency meetings, and comply with corporate compliance and risk management policy and plan.
- Provide quality customer service to stakeholders, including patients, staff, and community partners.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- A high school diploma and work-related experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
- One year experience working in a healthcare setting and experience providing administrative services.
- Knowledge of the principles, policies, and practices of office management.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and organizational functions.
- Ability to communicate effectively and exercise judgment and discretion.
- Ability to train other employees and operate a state vehicle (as applicable to position).
