Job Summary:

Ace Hardware Home Services is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and residential buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and repair electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and electrical panels
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations, including the NEC
  • Install and program logic controllers for automation systems
  • Handle low voltage systems, such as security and fire alarm systems

Requirements:

  • Journeyman license REQUIRED
  • Masters license HIGHLY preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting electrical plans
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues efficiently and effectively
  • Experience working on renovation projects is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
  • Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
  • Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
