Trailer Technician II Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Trailer Technician II to join our team at Midwest Logistic Systems. As a Trailer Technician II, you will be responsible for performing routine repairs on company trailers, handling annual inspections and preventative maintenance, and completing troubleshooting and component replacements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair minor trailer electrical systems.
  • Complete routine rebuilds and replacements.
  • Communicate status updates with internal customers.
  • Use computer systems to accurately track repair times, parts used, and work completed.

Requirements:

  • Technical degree in welding, electronics, or related systems.
  • A minimum of 1 year of trailer technician experience.
  • Basic welding skills preferred.
  • Experience with computer systems.
  • Vehicle and Brake Inspector Certified.
  • Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.
