Dental Assistant

Are you passionate about dentistry and making a positive impact on people's lives? We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our growing practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive support to dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient patient care.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to strict infection control protocols, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Capture and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision, adhering to safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions, empowering them to maintain optimal oral health.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and medical histories, ensuring meticulous documentation for each individual.
  • Contribute to a clean and organized work environment, fostering a professional and efficient atmosphere.
Requirements:
  • Valid x-ray certification demonstrating proficiency in dental radiography techniques.
  • Minimum of one year of chairside experience as a Dental Assistant, providing direct patient care support.
  • Proven ability to take impressions and pour models accurately, contributing to the fabrication of dental restorations.
  • Experience assisting during diverse procedures, including composite/silver fillings, crown/bridge preparations, and other common dental treatments.
  • Skilled in setting up and breaking down operatories, ensuring a seamless workflow for each patient visit.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with dental software systems, such as Open Dental, is highly desirable.
