About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Dental Associates Group. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists during procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Dentists during Dental Procedures: Provide support to our dentists during various procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.
  • Prepare and Sterilize Instruments and Equipment: Maintain a clean and organized work environment by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment as needed.
  • Take and Develop Dental Radiographs (X-rays): Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of our patients.
  • Provide Patients with Oral Care Instructions: Educate patients on proper oral care techniques and provide instructions following surgery or other dental treatments.
  • Record Patient Medical Histories and Maintain Accurate Patient Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
  • Ensure a Clean and Organized Work Environment: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring a safe and healthy workspace.
Requirements
  • Valid X-ray Certification: Possess valid x-ray certification and experience working with dental radiography equipment.
  • 1 Year of Chairside Experience: Have at least 1 year of experience working as a dental assistant in a chairside role.
  • Experience Taking Impressions and Pouring Models: Possess experience taking impressions and pouring models, as well as assisting during various procedures.
  • Ability to Set and Break Operatories: Be able to set and break operatories, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Strong Attention to Detail and Ability to Multitask: Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced dental environment.
  • Experience with Dental Software (Preferred): Have experience working with dental software, such as Open Dental, and be proficient in its use.
