About the Role

C&S Companies is seeking an experienced Office Engineer to join our team. As an Office Engineer, you will assist the EIC/Resident Engineer in managing construction inspection projects, providing technical and administrative information to ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review daily inspection reports and payment quantities in accordance with NYSDOT/MURK requirements.
  • Prepare change orders for overruns, changed conditions, and additional work.
  • Assist with project administration roles, including review of project documents and communication with project stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 10 years of related experience in the construction field and transportation projects.
  • NICET III or equivalent experience, or EIT designation.
  • Bachelor's Degree desired, Associate's Degree acceptable with relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to supervise or coordinate the work of others.
  • Knowledge of NYSDOT's Equitable Business Opportunities (EBO) software and computerized methods of construction project administration (Site Manager or Appia).
