Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Licensing Surveyor Entry to join our team in the Division of Public Health Licensing Services, Bureau of Behavioral Health Facilities Licensing. As a Licensing Surveyor Entry, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and laws related to licensed facilities and providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial and annual inspections of health care institutions and sober living homes to determine compliance with regulations.
  • Review quality systems, track documents, and analyze corrective actions to ensure compliance.
  • Investigate complaints and unlicensed facilities to determine compliance with regulations.
  • Correspond with regulated communities and regulatory bodies to respond to technical questions and provide guidance.
  • Develop standards and participate in rule-making processes.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience working in a licensed or regulated setting.
  • Experience working for a regulatory agency or in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel statewide.
  • Level one fingerprint clearance card or ability to obtain within 7 working days.
