About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in providing anesthesia services to patients requiring surgery and other procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality anesthesia care to patients in a variety of settings, including the operating room and post-anesthesia care unit.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations, including medical history, physical examination, and laboratory tests.
  • Administer anesthesia medications and monitor patients' responses to ensure safe and effective care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and reduce complications.
Qualifications
  • Current Washington State Registered Nurse License and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License.
  • Current Certification as a CRNA through the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
  • Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice.
  • Strong knowledge of current anesthesia practices and procedures.
  • Aptitude for detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to respond appropriately in stressful or emergent situations.
