About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our Team Medicine team at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in providing anesthesia services for patients requiring surgery and other procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients in a hospital setting
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement anesthesia plans for patients undergoing surgery and other procedures
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making
Qualifications
  • Current Washington State Registered Nurse License and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License
  • Current Certification as a CRNA through the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
  • Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice
  • Strong knowledge of current anesthesia practices and procedures
  • Aptitude for detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to respond appropriately in stressful or emergent situations
