About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. As a CRNA, you will provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery and other procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver anesthesia services in a team-based environment
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort
  • Participate in research-based patient care protocols to improve outcomes
  • Provide patient-focused care with attention to quality, safety, and comfort
  • Work in a diverse caseload, including obstetrics in our new Virginia Mason Birth Center
Qualifications
  • Current Washington State Registered Nurse License and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License
  • Current Certification as a CRNA through the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
  • Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice
  • Strong knowledge of current anesthesia practices and procedures
  • Aptitude for detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to respond appropriately in stressful or emergent situations
