Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Land Surveyor and Office Manager to join our team at Precision Measurements, Inc.

This is a unique opportunity to lead our office and project management efforts, ensuring the successful delivery of survey projects while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide guidance and direction to staff and project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of survey projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Financial Management: Contribute to the financial growth of the company by implementing cost-effective operations and ensuring the effective allocation of resources.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all projects meet the required quality standards, and implement processes to maintain and improve quality across the organization.
  • Staff Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the technical, management, and communication skills of staff members.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Technical Expertise: Maintain a working knowledge of AutoCAD and other related software, ensuring the effective use of technology to support survey operations.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualifications: Possess a Florida Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) license, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in professional land surveying.
  • Education and Training: Hold a degree in a relevant field, such as surveying, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Skills and Abilities: Possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
  • Software Proficiency: Be proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
