Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Manager: Professional Surveyor and Mapper to join our team at Precision Measurements, Inc.

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing office and project management, ensuring the highest level of quality control, and contributing to the financial growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clear communication and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Lead and motivate staff and project team members to achieve exceptional results.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective operations to drive financial growth.
  • Ensure effective project management by allocating resources and manpower to meet deadlines, budgets, and quality control guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain a skilled and knowledgeable team through training and development programs.
  • Prepare and submit proposals for survey work.
  • Coordinate with subconsultants as necessary to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Negotiate contracts to maximize profitability while aligning with corporate objectives.
  • Approve project schedules, contract budgets, and ensure timely completion and updates.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development.
  • Enhance the corporate image through active participation in relevant organizations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry software, including AutoCAD and other related tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, GPS, 3D Scanning, and Robotic technologies.
  • At least 5 years of experience in professional land surveying.
  • Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and municipal regulations, codes, and specifications.
  • Understanding of Florida's Construction and Professional Services Manual (CPSM).
  • Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, maps, plats, and legal descriptions.
  • Experience in directing, supervising, training, and evaluating staff performance.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Florida Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) license is mandatory.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
  • Basic computer proficiency and proficiency in Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Able to wear and work using PMI standard PPE, including hard hats, safety vests, work boots, and safety glasses/goggles for required survey jobs.
  • This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.
