Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians in all aspects of medical services, including surgery, radiology, and laboratory diagnostics
- Independently evaluate animals to determine adoptability and provide recommendations for care
- Collaborate with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and department leaders to solve problems and implement positive changes
- Provide excellent patient care and ensure high levels of animal welfare
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a veterinary technician program or 2 years of experience at a veterinary hospital or clinic
- Ability to assist veterinarians in all aspects of medical services, including surgery, radiology, and laboratory diagnostics
- Proficiency in phlebotomy, immunology, parasitology, endocrinology, pharmacology, and safe and humane animal handling
