Veterinary Technician Trauma Hospital

At the Arizona Humane Society, we are committed to providing exceptional care to animals in need. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our trauma hospital team.
Job Summary:
The Veterinary Technician will assist veterinarians in the treatment of animals, perform laboratory diagnostics, and provide excellent patient care. This is a full-time hourly position with a 4/10 work schedule, offering a great work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in all aspects of medical services, including surgery, radiology, and laboratory diagnostics.
- Perform phlebotomy, immunology, parasitology, and other laboratory procedures.
- Administer prescribed medications and provide fluid therapy.
- Assist with client education and clinic asepsis.
- Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to ensure high levels of patient care.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a veterinary technician program or 2 years of experience at a veterinary hospital or clinic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Chameleon software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
