Job Title: Lead Low Voltage Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Low Voltage Technician to join our team at Synergis. As a Lead Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of low voltage systems, including fiber optic networks, access control systems, and smart devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of low voltage systems
  • Terminate, troubleshoot, and test fiber and twisted pair cables
  • Install and maintain access control systems, smart devices, and digital displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve technical issues and improve processes
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in low voltage systems installation and maintenance
  • Experience with fiber optic networks, access control systems, and smart devices
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in cable preparation and splice closure techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with an Audio/Visual services company
  • Knowledge of low voltage electrical concepts and networking protocols
  • Ability to read and understand functional design drawings and cable riser diagrams
