Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead LV Fiber Technician to join our team at Synergis. As a Lead LV Fiber Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing low-voltage cabling and network connections, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain low-voltage cabling and network connections, including fiber and coaxial cables
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network and low-voltage systems
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless project execution and high-quality results
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the highest level of technical expertise

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in low-voltage cabling and network installation
  • Strong technical knowledge of fiber and coaxial cables, as well as network protocols and devices
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with an Audio/Visual services company
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, including IP subnetting and the OSI model
  • Experience with low-voltage electrical concepts, including Ohms law
