About the Role

Fannie Mae is seeking a highly skilled Multifamily Principal Data Science professional to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in designing, managing, and documenting data stores, data warehouses, and subject areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement approaches for data management and development or maintenance work on data models in support of enterprise projects.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to identify, monitor, analyze, and evaluate data model discrepancies and data integration challenges.
  • Collaborate with management to define the approaches necessary to ensure effective coordination between business units and technical staff.
  • Oversee and ensure implementation of opportunities to align data architecture workstreams with business objectives.
  • Direct and execute the implementation of new data models and/or the reuse of data models in new environments.
Requirements
  • 8 years of experience in data science, data architecture, or a related field.
  • Skilled in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.
  • Experience in data analysis, data mining, and statistical methods.
  • Ability to frame ideas as systems and analyze inputs, outputs, and processes.
  • Expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience with AWS Database products, SQL, and TOAD SQL database management tool.
  • Skilled in R Language Programming, Python object-oriented programming, and Alteryx for data analytics applications.
