Job Summary:

The Project Application Engineer II will be responsible for leading technical aspects of projects, including hardware, software, and control schemes. This role requires strong communication skills to work with clients and provide expert advice on Turbomachinery Controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all technical aspects of projects, including hardware, software, and control schemes.
  • Communicate with clients and provide expert advice on Turbomachinery Controls.
  • Provide startup support and training to internal and external teams.
  • Work in multi-discipline teams on Turbomachinery projects, including Steam Turbines, Gas Turbines, Compressors, Generators, and Diesel Engines.
  • Collaborate on project stages, including Customer-Facing KO Meeting, System Design Drawings, Control Narratives, Programming, Factory Acceptance Testing, and Commissioning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in Turbo-Machinery controls, with expertise in at least 2 areas: Steam Turbines, Gas Turbines, Hydro Turbines, Compressors, Generators, and Diesel Engines.
  • Experience with Triconex Hardware, TS1131 software, Wonderware HMI, Foxboro DCS, Modicon Hardware, Modicon Unity Pro Software, or Function-Based Programming Software is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
