Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Assistant Manager to join our team at the American Cancer Society. As a key member of our Hope Lodge operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient services and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Hope Lodge, ensuring seamless delivery of services and support to our guests.
  • Supervise a team of staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and engagement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare partners and stakeholders to promote the Hope Lodge and its services.
  • Ensure compliance with American Cancer Society policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in patient services, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising staff and volunteers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
