Patient Registration Specialist

The Patient Registration Specialist is responsible for accurately registering and pre-registering all patients seeking services based on their physician's directives and in accordance with the established policies and procedures of Trios Health.

This role includes performing Admit, Discharge, and Transfer functions as necessary. The specialist may also provide coverage for the Switchboard Operator and Cashier roles as assigned. It is essential to ensure that all registration and communication tasks are executed in a manner that fosters positive relationships with patients, healthcare providers, hospital departments, and visitors.



Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.

Preferred Qualifications:
An Associate's degree from a two-year college or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This position is part of a union.

Compensation:
Salary range: $25 per hour.
