Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

The Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality care in the treatment and prevention of human illness. Our health system consists of various institutions, including The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, and others.

We are seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Johns Hopkins Imaging at Bethesda. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will work with the latest technology and software to create live images during diagnostics and interventional procedures across different units.

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will have opportunities beyond daily clinical care, including committee participation around quality improvement and new initiatives, as well as testing of new software and equipment in collaboration with vendors.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, including successful completion of an approved curriculum in diagnostic sonography
  • Registration by The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
  • CPR certification required within three months of employment
  • Six (6) months of related experience
  • New grads are encouraged to apply
