We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologists to join our team at Johns Hopkins Medicine. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical imaging technology.

About the Role

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment, performing diagnostic procedures, and interpreting images to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality
  • Perform diagnostic procedures, including ultrasound imaging and Doppler studies
  • Interpret images to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an approved curriculum in diagnostic sonography, and registration by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). You must also have six months of related experience and be certified in CPR within three months of employment.
