Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Professional Performance Development Group, Inc. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetrical, and pediatric imaging.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound procedures on patients of all ages, including infants, children, and adults.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment, including scanners and printers, to produce high-quality images.
  • Position patients and prepare them for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Assist radiologists and other healthcare professionals with procedures and patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and imaging results.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Current registration as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in ultrasound imaging, including 1 year of in-hospital experience.
  • Knowledge of ultrasound physics, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position, working Saturday and Sunday 11pm-7:30am. You will have the opportunity to pick up additional shifts if wanted.

Location: Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
