Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Professional Performance Development Group, Inc. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetrical, and vascular studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound services to patients of all ages, including emergency situations.
  • Initiate emergency measures and notify radiologists/physicians as necessary.
  • Maintain professional competency through participation in professional organizations, self-directed journal reading, and attendance at in-service and continuing medical education.
  • Oversee and provide instructions to student technologists and resident physicians learning ultrasound technology and theory.
  • Participate in the provision of in-service training to clinic staff members and provide training as applicable to supporting government employees.

Requirements:

  • Current registration as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Technologist (RDMS) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
  • Valid unrestricted license in at least one state, territory, or commonwealth of the US.
  • Knowledge of the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) to enable the technologist to review, evaluate image quality, orient, and align images properly to PACS.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a fast-paced medical environment with frequent exposure to radiation.
  • May be required to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
