Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lending Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing new commercial loan accounts and client relationships, while enhancing existing customer relationships. This will involve providing financial solutions to both existing and prospective clients, increasing the bank's deposit base through various products, and developing sound and profitable business relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Represent the bank in the business community and develop relationships with business owners, C-level executives, and other key decision-makers.
- Build and maintain a list of targeted prospect profiles and execute a call plan to meet individual and team sales objectives.
- Manage and service commercial relationships by interviewing applicants and obtaining pertinent financial data.
- Evaluate financial information and determine whether a credit is an acceptable risk.
- Approve loans within assigned lending authority and recommend credits outside lending authority to the next level or present to the Loan Committee.
- Monitor market conditions and make recommendations to maintain competitive and profitable product lines.
- Demonstrated skills in commercial credit underwriting, business development, and portfolio management for mid-sized developers and investors.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of Commercial Lending experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to cross-sell other banking products and services.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
At Enterprise Bank & Trust, we offer a competitive salary range of $124,586 - $186,879, based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.
