Caregiving Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a member of our community, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
About the Role:
The Caregiver will be responsible for providing personalized care and attention to each resident, focusing on their unique needs and preferences. This includes assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as engaging in life-enriching activities and promoting independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care and support to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Engage residents in life-enriching activities, such as exercise programs, arts and crafts, and entertainment
- Monitor and report any changes in a resident's condition or behavior to management
- Participate in development and implementation of individualized service plans (ISPs) for residents
Requirements:
- Dedication to serving seniors with excellent customer service skills
- Positive attitude, flexibility to perform various duties, and ability to work in a team environment
- High School diploma/GED accepted; may be required per state regulations
- In states where appropriate, must maintain certifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred
- Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident's best interest
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and a level of understanding
- Competent in organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
