Key Responsibilities- Implement a Reggio-Emilia inspired approach to education, promoting social, emotional, physical, verbal, and cognitive development in children.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and families, ensuring a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Assist in planning and setting up the classroom environment, incorporating positive discipline strategies and Progettazione principles.
- Monitor and engage children in the learning environment, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents and families, keeping them informed of their child's progress and involving them in the educational process.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the program.
- Perform other duties as required to support the success of the program.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Knowledge of working in a preschool setting preferred, but not required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must have or be willing to obtain Adult and Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certifications within 30 days from date of hire.
- Valid Driver's License and access to a privately-owned vehicle with liability insurance for use in completing work responsibilities as required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish desirable, but not required.
