Position Title: Senior Operational Analyst, Strategy & Insights

Location: Hybrid Work Model

Position Overview

We are in search of a Senior Operational Analyst to join our Strategy & Insights division. In this role, you will support a Customer Strategy Lead, acting as a vital point of contact for our clients within the team. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the scheduling and execution of third-party market research initiatives and assessing customer advertising effectiveness. You will also be adept at converting findings from external vendors into clear and concise presentations. A keen eye for detail and the ability to resolve data inconsistencies are essential for this position. Utilizing your strong relationship-building and analytical skills, you will work collaboratively with the team to enhance the analysis process and identify areas for improvement and efficiency.

This position reports to an Operational Excellence Lead and works alongside fellow analysts. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in market research focused on advertising performance or those who have worked in a digital healthcare marketing/media environment utilizing data to evaluate marketing program effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Management: This role is accountable for the planning, execution, and delivery of program performance metrics to internal stakeholders, including brand lift and return on investment (ROI).
  • Statistical Acumen: While direct application of statistical methods and advanced analytics is not mandatory, the ability to interpret these to identify issues related to statistical significance, patterns, trends, and correlations is crucial.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with internal teams (Decision Science, Operations, Sales, Strategy Leads) to comprehend brand requirements and investigate various inputs affecting performance and contractual agreements.
  • Internal Reporting: Present complex analytical insights in a straightforward manner to internal teams, fostering trust and confidence in your expertise and that of the team.
Qualifications We Seek
  • Communication Proficiency: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively articulate complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience in crafting compelling data visualizations is advantageous.
  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team environment, including collaboration with sales teams.
  • Analytical Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving capabilities with a critical thinking approach to identify patterns and propose innovative solutions.
  • Detail Orientation: A strong commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate, and reliable analytical outputs.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: A desire to stay informed about the latest trends in analytics, data science, and the pharmaceutical industry through self-directed learning and participation in relevant training.
  • Critical Thinking: Experience in evaluating the best strategies for addressing challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. A proven track record (5-7 years) in a similar capacity, ideally in a role that involves ownership of research projects and timelines.
  • Analytical Expertise: A strong analytical mindset with a solid understanding of statistical analysis. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
