Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Community Choice Financial Family of Brands. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer experiences throughout the full cycle of the loan or pawn process.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized customer service and support to customers, addressing their financial needs and concerns.
  • Assist customers with account management, including accepting payments, monitoring, and managing customer appointments.
  • Work to meet company-set performance standards by leveraging business-to-business partnership opportunities, obtaining referrals, and participating in and hosting in-store and community events.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to build new business, maintain store profitability, and further brand loyalty and recognition.
  • Enter and maintain accurate customer information in the Point-of-Sale system.
  • Uphold compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date on products and processes.
  • Work efficiently in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment, handling multiple challenging tasks with ease to meet individual and team performance standards.
  • Utilize strong interpersonal skills to communicate and interact with customers and team members at all levels.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and courteous behavior with customers and peers.
  • Ability to work phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
  • Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check required (certain state and local applicant exemptions may apply).
  • Physical demands for this position frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, the ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds, the ability to move about freely inside and outside of the store, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.
