The Client Relationship Manager collaborates closely with Clinical Service Line representatives and the governance committee of the clinical department's Epic and Information Technology, which includes Physicians, Nursing, and Revenue Cycle. This role is essential in coordinating and facilitating the proficiency and optimization of the Epic Comprehensive Health Record and other software solutions. By engaging with the governance structure, the Client Relationship Manager will secure data reports, coordinate data analytics, provide proficiency training, maintain clinical content, and optimize physician builder functions within the Epic software.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with Network leaders (Administration and Physician Champions) to establish effective operational management of both ambulatory and inpatient software.
  • Work alongside the business to implement and enhance clinical and administrative software solutions.
  • Provide administrative support to the designated governance committees, including organizing meetings, maintaining documentation, and executing policy decisions.
  • Develop strategies for service line optimization through subcommittees, including Physician Builder programs, remedial training initiatives, and clinical content enhancement plans.
  • Organize and facilitate the onboarding process for new staff and providers to access clinical and non-clinical Information Technology software.
  • Partner with operational engagement teams to deliver IT software (Epic and non-Epic) to newly acquired ambulatory practices and hospital facilities.
  • Coordinate the adoption of innovative technologies and devices within clinical service lines and departments. Collaborate with Innovation to identify challenges faced by each business line regarding processes and technology, assisting in the implementation of effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT service management teams to provide service level reports for each customer, including break-fix, demand, projects, and maintenance.
  • Maintain a communication strategy to facilitate demand prioritization recommendations among relevant governance committees and subcommittees.
  • Coordinate and implement post-optimization programs following the go-lives of all technology deployments.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires sitting for up to 7 hours per day, standing for up to 7 hours per day, and walking for up to 2 hours a day. The role may involve crouching, kneeling, and lifting objects weighing up to 40 pounds, as well as pushing objects weighing up to 60 pounds. Hand and finger dexterity is necessary for performing repairs on small equipment and utilizing computer systems. Visual acuity is required for general, near, color, and peripheral vision, along with hearing capabilities for normal and telephone conversations.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration, or equivalent professional experience is preferred. An advanced degree is also favored.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 3-5 years of general computer experience is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with effective interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities. Proficiency in MS Office is required.

Extensive experience in hospital operations from both personnel and workflow perspectives is necessary.
