Maxar Technologies Seeks Experienced Corporate Attorney

Maxar Technologies is currently seeking a highly skilled Corporate Attorney to join our team in Westminster, CO. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in providing legal guidance and support to our business leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, draft, and negotiate complex commercial agreements with enterprise customers and company vendors.
  • Provide legal advice to various groups, including Sales, Procurement, Product, Marketing, IT, and Communications.
  • Manage agreements and disputes in a manner that complies with Company policies and risk tolerance.
  • Advise business clients, as well as Finance and other stakeholders, on legal issues and risks, approval processes, company policies and procedures, IP, and business strategy.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law in Colorado.
  • Minimum of 8 years of attorney work experience in commercial contracts, Government contracts, intellectual property matters, business development, and technology transactions.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive background in drafting and facilitating services agreements, sales agreements, licenses, and intellectual property agreements.
  • Experience negotiating Government contracts and ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Experience leveraging CLM tools, including AI.
  • Ability to manage a diverse portfolio of projects under tight timelines.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively.
  • Law firm and in-house transactional experience.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Professional and positive approach to daily business.
