About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Front Desk Attendant. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, engaging with new and existing customers, and participating in administrative tasks to ensure seamless communication with customers and our Pet Services Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily tasks and responsibilities as outlined by our daily/weekly/monthly department checklists
  • Process dog check-ins and check-outs for all GoDog services
  • Act as the face of GoDog, greeting customers warmly, addressing inquiries, and resolving concerns with empathy and efficiency
  • Maintain accurate vaccination records and other required paperwork
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the lobby and customer-facing areas
  • Manage reservations in accordance with availability and staffing requirements
  • Engage customers to add on services or participate in package offerings
  • Assist in client registration, checking pets in and out, and relay critical information to kennel and daycare staff regarding feeding, medication, and scheduled services
  • Assist in Daycare and Boarding and cover shifts or breaks as needed
Requirements
  • 1 year of reception or administrative experience
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • Comfort working with dogs of all sizes and personalities
  • Proven work ethic, organizational skills, and time management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to proactively identify opportunities and recommend solutions
  • Ability to positively interact with the animals that GoDog services
  • Ability to regularly move throughout the facility to continuously interact with pets, customers, and staff using physical and mental stamina
  • Ability to clean up bodily fluids without becoming squeamish
  • Pet First Aid and CPR Certification
  • Background check clearance
