Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Front Desk Attendant to join our team at GoDog. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, engaging with new and existing customers, and participating in administrative tasks to ensure seamless communication with customers and our Pet Services Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns with empathy and efficiency
  • Check dogs in and out of all GoDog services, ensuring accurate and timely processing
  • Procure and maintain vaccination records and other required paperwork, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the lobby and customer-facing areas, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Manage reservations in accordance with availability and staffing requirements, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Engage customers to add on services or participate in package offerings, promoting our premium pet hospitality services
  • Assist in client registration, checking pets in and out, and relay critical information to kennel and daycare staff regarding feeding, medication, and scheduled services
  • Assist in Daycare and Boarding, covering shifts or breaks as needed, and providing support to our team members
Requirements
  • 1 year reception or administrative experience
  • 1 year customer service experience
  • Comfort working with dogs of all sizes and personalities
  • Proven work ethic, organizational skills, and time management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to proactively identify opportunities and recommend solutions
  • Ability to positively interact with the animals that GoDog services
  • Ability to regularly move throughout the facility to continuously interact with pets, customers, and staff using physical and mental stamina
  • Ability to clean up bodily fluids without becoming squeamish
  • Capability to competently complete the tasks required of any employee
  • Pet First Aid and CPR Certification
  • Background check clearance
