Rutgers The State University is seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist II to join its team at the Child & Adolescent Services - South Brunswick School - Based Program within Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care.

The ideal candidate will participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team offering comprehensive youth development activities, case management, and supportive counseling to students in the South Brunswick School District.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with school district personnel to identify appropriate youth development activities for students and families, designing workshops and activities that enhance the emotional and social development of students, and providing supportive counseling to students in need.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health or human services, with experience working with children and adolescents. Knowledge of child development and the ability to work in a school environment are essential.

This is a full-time position with a 12-month appointment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
