Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-time Outpatient Therapist to join our team at Wellness Meets World. As a therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality therapeutic services to a diverse range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy via telehealth to clients managing mental health and wellness concerns.
  • Develop and implement culturally responsive treatment plans that promote personal growth and mental wellness.
  • Collaborate with clients to address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
  • Conduct intake assessments and maintain detailed documentation of client progress.
  • Maintain confidentiality of treatment records and reports.
  • Offer support and guidance through an inclusive, holistic lens, ensuring services align with Wellness Meets World's values of equity and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with other members of the clients' wellness team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Engage in community outreach efforts, including facilitating support groups and workshops as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Active licensure as a LAC, LSW, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent in the state of New Jersey.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience providing therapy to diverse populations, with a strong commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive care.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a high level of professionalism and empathy.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage a full caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable utilizing teletherapy platforms and maintaining confidentiality in a virtual environment.
  • Passion for social justice and a deep investment in addressing mental health disparities in marginalized communities.
