Position Overview:

As a prominent entity in the staffing industry, Complete Staffing is in search of talented professionals who embody our dedication to excellence, innovation, and career advancement.

We are currently seeking a Cloud Architect specializing in Microsoft 365. This role entails the design, strategic planning, assessment, and execution of the firm's migration and operational strategies within the Microsoft cloud ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
The Cloud Architect for Microsoft 365 will be accountable for:

  • Acting as the primary technical authority in the Microsoft 365 domain;
  • Designing, configuring, and sustaining the Microsoft 365 environment for the organization;
  • Translating business requirements into architectural frameworks and presenting them to executive management;
  • Planning and implementing comprehensive Microsoft 365 workload deployments;
  • Advising IT leadership on current and emerging Microsoft 365 technologies and associated core systems;
  • Creating detailed documentation for existing and prospective cloud solutions;
  • Assessing governance needs and security configurations for the Microsoft 365 platform;
  • Providing expertise during significant service migrations to Microsoft 365;
  • Collaborating with information security teams to ensure designs meet all security best practices and organizational requirements;
  • Regularly evaluating the Microsoft 365 and cloud environments to identify critical gaps and recommend enhancements;
  • Producing and disseminating technical documentation for cloud solutions and projects, including processes, procedures, troubleshooting guides, training materials, and change management;
  • Mentoring and coaching fellow IT team members;
  • Offering solution ownership and subject matter expertise throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

  • The skill to identify, scope, and articulate detailed technical solutions to executive personnel;
  • Experience in implementing Microsoft cloud technologies and understanding their interdependencies within large enterprise environments;
  • A proactive approach to collaboration with internal and third-party vendor teams;
  • The ability to provide strategic guidance to large technical teams on complex initiatives;
  • Leadership qualities across cloud services within the organization;
  • A focus on process improvement, security configuration, and standardization across cloud solutions;
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills;
  • The ability to clearly communicate escalations and progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology, System Analysis, Engineering, or a related field;
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in global enterprise IT solutions and engineering.

Certifications:
Advanced Microsoft M365 certifications are required, along with expertise in Office 365 components such as Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, Defender for Office 365, Teams, and other O365 workloads.

Security Expertise:
Familiarity with Microsoft security features, including Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud Apps, and Microsoft Entra ID Premium, is essential. Experience with Microsoft cloud security controls, Data Loss Prevention, and eDiscovery is also beneficial.

Technical Experience:
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 in large, complex environments is required, along with experience managing on-premises Active Directory and migrations to M365. Knowledge of Azure and Microsoft Intune is a plus.
