Position Overview

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to enhance our team. This role is pivotal in shaping, executing, and maintaining the technical framework for MS Azure and Office 365 environments, collaborating closely with the Chief Architect and other technical experts. The primary objective is to elevate the scalability, reliability, and performance of cloud services, ensuring a premier Information Service experience for both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and support the target architecture for Azure and O365.
  • Assess the current state and lead the design for migrating existing capabilities to the cloud.
  • Establish standards for continuous monitoring and focus on modernization efforts.
  • Participate in on-call rotations with the cloud services team to resolve critical production issues.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $130,000.

Qualifications

  • Experience in regulated industries such as banking or healthcare.
  • 8 years of experience in Linux and Windows Server environments.
  • 5 years of expertise in cloud services, with a strong focus on infrastructure as code and automation.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 (including Exchange Server, SharePoint, Teams) and Active Directory / MS Entra.
  • Experience in migrating from on-premises to cloud environments, with Azure being essential.
  • Understanding of cloud security and optimization of operational costs, along with expertise in cloud performance and reliability.
  • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, Python, Bash/Shell, and related technologies.
