Pharmacy Manager Job Description

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team and deliver exceptional patient care. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing guidance to our pharmacy staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations, including patient safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure our pharmacy remains compliant and competitive.
Requirements:
  • Active pharmacy license in the state where employed.
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Immunization certification through an accredited organization.
  • Submission of required information/documents to state PMP administrator.
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
