Position Overview

The University of Missouri Healthcare is actively seeking a qualified Perinatal Psychiatrist. This role offers flexibility, accommodating various work arrangements, including part-time positions with a dedicated focus on outpatient care and opportunities for funded research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

This unique position encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, including:

  • Leadership in Maternal Health Initiatives: Approximately 50% of your time will be dedicated to leading a statewide initiative aimed at enhancing maternal and infant health.
  • Collaboration with Obstetrics and Gynecology: Spend around 30% of your time working alongside the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology to expand Perinatal Psychiatric services.
  • Supervision of Residents: Allocate about 10% of your time to supervising residents in the Perinatal clinic.

Essential Qualifications

  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Psychiatry.
  • Certification in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International.
