Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team at CenterPointe Hospital Columbia. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting diagnostic evaluations, and developing treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to identify mental health concerns and substance use disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the complex needs of patients
  • Provide psychotherapy, medication management, and other evidence-based interventions to promote patient recovery and well-being
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required
  • Board certification in psychiatry
  • Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions
  • Licensed in the state of Missouri
