Piedmont HealthCare is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Care Specialist to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Nurse Care Specialist will provide high-quality nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in various settings, including emergency departments, critical care units, and medical-surgical units.
- Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, and health history to develop individualized plans of care.
- Implement and evaluate care plans, ensuring that care provided is appropriate to the severity of the disease, condition, impairment, or disability.
- Document patient care and concerns in the patient record.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate and direct the delivery of nursing care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a nursing program.
- Two years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Advanced certification in the field of specialty, if applicable.
