Nurse Specialist - Critical Care Unit

We are seeking a Nurse Specialist to join our team at Piedmont Eastside Medical Center. As a Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Critical Care Unit.

About the Role:

The Nurse Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and directing the delivery of nursing care for critically ill adult patients. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Coordinate and direct the delivery of nursing care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Document patient data and care plans in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a nursing program
  • Two (2) years nursing experience in a hospital setting
  • Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
  • BLS certification required
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable

Average Salary Range:
