Senior IT Auditor Job Description

AAA Life Insurance Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Auditor to join our team. As a Senior IT Auditor, you will be responsible for leading and executing internal IT audits, assessing the efficiency of our IT internal controls, and ensuring compliance with internal policies in support of our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute complex IT internal audits, including comprehensive evaluations of internal controls and assessments of organizational processes.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis using data analytics software to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform strategic decision-making.
  • Articulate audit findings and recommendations to management, ensuring clarity and driving actionable outcomes to strengthen the organization.
  • Perform risk assessment processes to determine audit scope for projects and identify potential risks within various business processes and operational areas.
  • Assign, review, and evaluate the work of other auditors, coach and mentor less experienced auditors on audit procedures, work quality, and productivity.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Internal Audit, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years related experience, including three years of information systems auditing experience.
  • Professional certification, such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), is required.
  • Highly proficient with automated audit management software, proficiency with data analytics software, and knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI is required.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex issues effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
