About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Distribution Engineering Manager II to join our team at DISH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and developing strategies to support our business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop relationships with senior management to set objectives and resolve issues
  • Establish Distribution Engineering and Maintenance goals and objectives
  • Drive process improvements and timely implementation of projects and tasks
  • Define processes and procedures in conjunction with Distribution Operations staff
  • Monitor system performance and track metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Provide accurate and clear communication in both written and verbal forms
  • Prioritize relevant engineering and maintenance-related training needs
  • Utilize robotics and automation to improve processes
  • Supervise subordinate managers and individual contributors
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial and/or Mechanical Engineering or a similar field and ten plus years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with robotic and automation software such as LabView; Solidworks; and Allen Bradley PLCs
  • Experience with robotics and automation preferred
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
  • Ability to effectively present information to management and public groups
